Community Preparedness Survey / Adverse Event Plan
Consultation has concluded
Consultation has concluded.
This community survey was developed to give us a clear understanding of how our community may be responding to ‘Adverse Events’, including the ongoing drought and the COVID-19 Crisis. We also wanted to understand how prepared the community feels for potential Adverse Events in the future.
Thank you to those who participated in the engagement process. Council has now developed an Adverse Event Plan which aims to improve preparation for and recovery from adverse events.
It has been developed with the valuable input of representatives from the local community sectors and will now be further fleshed out and reviewed on an ongoing basis to ensure actions and recommendations are up-to-date and valid.
If you'd like to get a better understanding of what we heard through the engagement process, the engagement report is available for viewing in the documents panel to the right.
You can also view the final plan, which was adopted by Council at the August 2020 meeting.
