Consultation has concluded

The River Country Art Trail project will see a series of large-scale murals painted on silos and water towers across the Murray River Council footprint.

Located in the townships of Barham, Caldwell, Mathoura, Moulamein, Tooleybuc, Wakool and now Moama, these sites will collectively make up the ‘River Country Art Trail’.

The project will breathe new excitement into the communities, bring new visitors to the region and encourage visitors to stop, explore and appreciate our area.

To support Council in successfully delivering this project, we have established a Steering Committee in each location to provide input and guidance to the Project Team.

*This project is externally funded through Round 2 of the Regional Tourism Activation Fund.

    ECHUCA/MOAMA Advisory Committee EOI

    Thanks for your interest in the River Country Art Trail Advisory Committee for Echuca Moama. Committees for other townships were formed in 2023.

    Membership of the Echuca Moama Committee is open to any member of the local community who lives in Echuca Moama. 

    We anticipate selecting 3-5 representatives.

    Expressions of Interest close 19 February 2024. We will be in touch following the review of all submissions received.

    Advisory Committee EOI

    Thanks for your interest in the River Country Art Trail Advisory Committee.

    Membership of the Committee is open to any member of the local community who lives in Murray River Council. 

    We will seek to form an Advisory Committee for each of the following localities, with 3-5 representatives on each panel: 

    • Wakool 
    • Caldwell 
    • Bunnaloo 
    • Mathoura 
    • Barham 
    • Tooleybuc 
    • Moulamein
