Consultation has concluded

Anyone registered on the electoral role in Murray River Council MUST turn out to vote in a referendum on whether to abolish the council’s three wards and become an undivided council area. The current wards each have representation from 3 councillors. If it were to become an undivided area, electoral boundaries would be removed, and the 9 councillor seats could be elected from anywhere in the municipality

Remember, voting is compulsory.

You can find details of your local voting locations here

Tip: To find voting locations, enter your address details in the address finder at the top of the page and it will bring up voting locations on a map down the page a little further. If your address does not register, you can also scroll down the page and select the 'ward' details. This will also bring up voting locations on a map specific to your ward.

You can select the 'list view' button to see all location details in a list.

Information on candidates

Each candidate has a “Candidate Information Sheet” that is available on the NSW Electoral Commission's website here.
