Consultation has concluded

Following the December Local Government elections we had a vacant councillor seat in both Greater Murray and Greater Wakool Wards.

During the nomination period in January, we ended up with two candidates nominating.

You can find out more details here.

This means both will be elected uncontested and residents in these wards will not be required to vote in a by-election.

As the majority of people voted to retain the ward system in the recent referendum, council continues to have representation from 3 councillors in each of the 3 wards.
