Roadshow is happening now

Councillors, Directors and Council Managers will be 'on the road' this week hosting Community and Business Based 'Pop-In' Sessions where they will be seeking feedback, ideas and suggestions for any and all projects or programs of works to be undertaken across the local government area.

No idea is too big, too small or too far left field to be submitted at this time.

Staff will be available at all 'Pop-In' sessions to answer questions you may have.

Once consultation closes on 27 Feb 2022, all ideas will be assessed against criteria such as legislative requirements, technological advancements and budget restrictions. From there projects and programs of works suggested by community and business members, which meet the criteria, will be further assessed and placed into the Operational Plan. All other projects and programs of works will be placed in the 'parking lot', our holding location for all community suggestions.

At the beginning of the planning process for subsequent Operational Plans, the 'parking lot' will be reviewed for any projects or programs of works which may be available for implementation.
