Public Transport Infrastructure

Council is inviting community members to provide feedback on bus stops and their associated infrastructure, from across the region.

We want to ensure our Public Transport infrastructure meets the requirements of the community. To do this, we have a survey open to the public capturing information identifying the location of new bus stops and shelters across the region or identifying any existing bus stops which may require upgrades.

Eligible locations include:

  • Regular bus stops
  • NSW Train Link coach stops
  • Bus stops adjacent to school entry/exit points
  • Bus stops that support other transport modes, including flexible transport options.

Upgrade works include

  • boarding areas – especially levelling;
  • basic boarding point works;
  • minor boarding point upgrade;
  • connecting footpath;
  • security/lighting;
  • signage;
  • standard bus stop hard stand;
  • street furniture (bins, seats etc);
  • tactile ground surface indicators (TGSIs).
  • general repairs

The feedback you provide will help our team better understand community needs and may guide future service improvements. While we’ll do our best to consider all feedback, not every suggestion can be implemented.

The survey is available online via the links below, and will remain open until March 2026.

All personal information will remain private and confidential, used only for internal purposes related to this survey.
