Help us create a more inclusive community….

Murray River Council is inviting members of the community to join Council’s new Access and Inclusion Advisory Committee (AIAC). The purpose of the AIAC is to provide feedback, advice and guidance to Council on all matters related to disability access and inclusion.

We welcome applications from individuals who live with a disability, are carers and/or disability service providers. Additionally, we encourage those who, in conjunction with the aforementioned, represent diverse cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals of all ages and abilities.

We're aiming for members to represent a range of abilities, ages, gender, cultures, geographic locations across the municipality and areas of interest/expertise.

You can view the Terms of Reference via the document link here. Or for more information, please contact Tiana Christie via email tchristie@murrayriver.nsw.gov.au or phone 1300 087 004.

Submissions close 15 March 2024.
